Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from September to November and January to April at the Carnegie building, 25 Adelaide St. at 8 p.m., unless otherwise indicated below.
Membership runs from September 1st to August 31st, and includes meetings, a quarterly newsletter and GHS support activities. Annual membership is $15.00 for a single membership, $20.00 for a family. Single admission to a meeting is $5.00. The Society is a registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency and issues tax receipts for donations (not membership fees) in excess of $10.00.

Wednesday, September 19th, 7.30 pm. at Trinity United Church, Memory Hall Pie social followed by "Adam and Eve, The Garden of Eden, Niagara Falls, March Twain" by John Burtniak, Librarian, Archivist and Local Historian.

Wednesday, October 17th, 8 pm. "Gleanings from Grimsby". Speaker, Dorothy Turcotte, Author and Local Historian.

Wednesday, November 21st, 8 pm. "Graham Thomson Lyall, VC". Speaker Geoffrey Hayes, Associate Professor of History, University of Waterloo.

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008, 8 pm, at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 10 Mountain Street "The Kirk at the Forty". Speaker Jill Jones, chairperson, 175th Anniversary Committee.

Wednesday, February 20th, 8 pm. "One Hundred Years of Scouting". Speakers Russ Kelk, Group Commissioner, 1st North Grimsby Scout Group, Bill Nolan, Troup Scouter, and Tony Roberts, Curator of the Scout Museum.

Wednesday, March 19th, 8 pm. "By the Banks of Stoney Creek". Speaker Michael Gemmell, Curator of the Erland Lee Museum.

Wednesday, April 16th, 8 pm. "Top 100 Unusual Things to See in Ontario". Speaker Ron Brown, Author, Geographer and Photographer.

Wednesday, May 21st, 6.30 pm Memory Hall, Trinity United Church Annual PotLuck Dinner followed by annual GHS business meeting at 7.30 pm. The Reeds Harmonica Band at 8 pm. Wonderful food, conversation and entertainment rolled into one evening!
