Tim Horton's Food Drive - Beginning November 7 2007
Fill the brown paper bag distributed through our local newspapers with grocery items and bring to one of three Grimsby Tim Horton's locations. All donations from these locations will be picked up by GBF volunteers to benefit those in need in Grimsby through the GBF Foodbank.
Wendy's Restaurant Food Drive - November 12 - 20, 2007
Bring your non-perishable food donation to Wendy's Restaurant - Gateway Centre. All proceeds to GBF Foodbank.
Grimsby Peachkings Oldtimers Hockey Game - Monday November 12
In honour of their 25th anniversary as a hockey team, the Grimsby Peachkings Oldtimers are hosting a special hockey team from Germany in an invitational game. Free admission with a donation to the GBF Foodbank

Christmas is a special time of giving for Grimsby. Every year the community comes together to "help us to help others."

Back-To-School Backpack Program
Any family in our service area requiring assistance with back to school supplies may register at the Food Bank office for a filled backpack for their school aged children. Registration occurs mid July through to mid August.
