2010 Easter Basket Program
Thank you to everyone who is helping to put a smile on a child's face on Easter morning this year with our Easter basket program.
2010 Back-To-School Backpack Program
Any family in our service area requiring assistance with back to school supplies may register at the Food Bank office for a filled backpack for their school aged children. Registration occurs mid July through to mid August. To register for the program, to donate supplies for the backpacks or for addtional information, please contact Pamela Rainford, Client Services 905 309 5664 ext. 4
Christmas Activities
Christmas is a special time of giving for Grimsby.
Every year the community comes together to "help us to help others."
Donations are collected at the Santa Parade held on the first Saturday in December each year. Donations also accepted at Grimsby Fire Hall after that date. For more information please see Christmas page.
Non-perishable food donations (only) accepted at Sobey's Grimsby Square Plaza
Area schools and churches also hold their own food drives for the GBF Christmas Hamper program
